Ecosoft Energy offers a controllable Entratek EV charger and the Smart Grid Hub (our Home Energy Management System) in one package.
The SG-Hub and Car charger combination offers everything you need for this purpose:
Automatic choosing the optimal prices: You will always pay the lowest possible prices for every charge session you command.
Automatic alignment with the PV-system: Surplus energy will be fed to the EV-charger
Load balancing: The EV-lader takes other devices into account. The EV-charger can be given priority over other large appliances such as heat pumps. You can turn on the EV-charger with certainty the charging plan will take place.
The EV-charger can be controlled via our app. You set how much energy (kWh or a percentage) you want it to consume in one session and when the charging session should be completed.

• Charging at home with an 11kW car charger
• Prior to the charging session, the app shows the costs involved
• You can edit the charge plan and run the plan when you are satisfied with the settings
• You ease the strain on the electricity grid by charging when there is an abundance of energy.

The Smart Car Charger consists of:
• the SG-Hub
• Car charger Entratek Power Dot Eco+ 11 kW
• Connection hardware for the SG-Hub
• Software to create the charging plan
• One 1 year license consisting of:
1. daily updated energy prices
2. software updates
3. possibility to edit settings in the cloud as well (remote editing)
4. store consumption data in the cloud
A P1-connnection with the smart meter is possible, to receive data on energy consumption and energy feed-back from the smart meter. This optional and not always necessary.
Both devices are to be installed on your location to use them. Arrange for an installer yourself for that. Fill in the settings in the SG-Hub to specify when the charging sessions should be completed. Fill in the capacity and maximal charging speed of the battery. The SG-Hub will create a favorable charging plan every day.
